Lakendra Thomas, RN

Chief Nursing Officer

Kendra Thomas serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Circle of Life Healthcare Organization, where she leads the nursing team with a commitment to excellence in patient care and clinical practice. With over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Kendra has a proven track record of implementing innovative nursing practices and fostering a collaborative environment.

Kendra began her career as a registered nurse, quickly advancing through various leadership roles due to her dedication and expertise. She holds a Registered Nurse degree from Galen College of Nursing in San Antonio, Texas. During her military career, she was recognized as a lead preceptor nurse at the General Moreno Clinic in Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. Her passion for nursing is evident in her efforts to mentor young nurses and advocate for patient-centered care.

She is an active member of the San Antonio community, volunteering with various non-profit organizations. Kendra and her family are frequent volunteers at the San Antonio Food Bank, reflecting their commitment to giving back to the community.

Outside of work, Kendra enjoys reading books, joining book clubs, and spending time with her daughters during cheer season. These activities help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling life.
Kendra's vision is to mentor nurses to continue growing in knowledge by empowering and guiding them to always prioritize patient-centered care. She aims to ensure that Circle of Life Healthcare Organization remains at the forefront of nursing excellence.

Scott Lamb, LVN

Chief Compliance Officer

Scott Lamb discovered his passion for nursing during his teenage years. Over the past 24 years, he has gained extensive experience in various fields, including skilled nursing, hospital care, and home health. However, it was his introduction to hospice care that truly resonated with him, revealing his true calling.

Scott has a true servant's heart, always volunteering whenever possible at various charitable functions such as the Alzheimer's Association and ALS Walk to Cure events. At Circle of Life Healthcare, Scott is dedicated to ensuring that all regulatory standards are meticulously followed, providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients and their families.

For Scott, being a hospice nurse is not just a job; it's a part of his heart and soul.

Jeff Tristan

VP of Business Development

Jeff Tristan brings 25 years of experience in the medical field. He is proven at developing and implementing successful business and marketing strategies. His expertise spans a variety of service lines, including inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, post-acute primary care, pain management, and wound care.

Jeff's notable achievements include negotiating and managing two of TeamHealth's largest managed care contracts in the San Antonio and Corpus Christi markets and securing key partnerships with Humana (Conviva) and WellMed.

From 2014 – 2017, Jeff co-hosted the cable television show Today's Ministries where he conducted in-depth interviews with prominent leaders from various industries, offering valuable insights into their work and achievements.

Since 2008, Jeff has served as the president of the nonprofit youth football organization, Alamo City Red Raiders. In this role, he has mentored and coached elite talent while organizing national and international tournaments, fostering the growth and development of young athletes at the highest levels.
